AS Group participates in the international “Tbilisi Silk Road Forum”
On October 22–23, 2025, the 5th International “Tbilisi Silk Road Forum” was held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The event brought together over 2,000 participants from more than 60 countries, including heads of government, ministers, executives of global companies, representatives of international organizations, and thought leaders.
AS Group was represented at the forum by Ramiz Mammadov, the Chief Innovation and Energy Officer. Participants discussed topics such as global trade, sustainable infrastructure, digital transformation, and strengthening connectivity across the Silk Road region.
During the opening session of the forum — the High-Level Dialogue — discussions focused on cooperation, innovation, and investment opportunities. Ramiz Mammadov attended panels dedicated to energy and digital issues. In an interview with local media, he noted that AS Group has been operating in Georgia since 2011, initially in the construction and development sector, and currently in energy and digital business, including data centers.
Ramiz Mammadov also noted that the forum is highly significant in demonstrating cooperation among countries of the region. According to him, Azerbaijan and Georgia enjoy a strategic and sustainable partnership, and strengthening this relationship is particularly important for AS Group as the company continues to expand its operations in Georgia.
Within the framework of the forum, several parallel panel discussions on key topics were held. On the second day, the event continued with business meetings and sessions aimed at enhancing public-private sector cooperation.
